Mark, a physicist by training, is a Patent Agent with nearly two decades of experience working with entrepreneurs and corporations to protect and commercialize their innovations through patents. He is also registered to act for Canadian clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He specializes in securing patent protection in Canada and the United States, collaborating with foreign patent agents to also obtain patent protection in foreign jurisdictions. The clients Mark has worked with span multiple industries, including companies in the advanced technology, telecommunications, mechanical engineering, software, semiconductor manufacturing, lasers, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Mark previously worked in remote sensing, image analysis, AI, and software development before becoming a patent agent and lawyer. Prior to joining MB&O, Mark worked for large Canadian and international intellectual property law firms
