Adam Falconi is a lawyer with expertise in intellectual property and commercial agreements, particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. With an educational background and professional experience as a pharmacist, Adam’s practice focuses on advising companies, particularly in the healthcare and consumer goods space, on intellectual property issues involving litigation and licensing, corporate transactions, and regulatory compliance. Adam is also called to the New York State Bar and contributes to the firm’s cross-border practice, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation, acquisition, and licensing. He also maintains a general trademark and commercial litigation practice domestically.

Adam graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School where he was the recipient of multiple academic awards and honours, which included the N. A. Taylor Entrance Scholarship, the Bereskin & Parr Prize in Patent Law, the Gowling WLG Best Blog in IP Law and Technology Prize, the Barry D. Torno Memorial Prize, and admittance into the Golden Key International Honour Society for finishing in the top 15% of his graduating class. At Osgoode, Adam was the coordinator of the IP Osgoode Innovation Clinic and completed a placement in the Legal Affairs department of a multinational pharmaceutical company.

Adam also holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto and is a licensed Ontario Pharmacist. Adam has authored publications on patent litigation in the Intellectual Property Journal and pharmaceutical drug development in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology.

Prior to joining Magyar, Bogle & O’Hara LLP, Adam worked at an intellectual property boutique in Toronto where he maintained a practice centered on intellectual property litigation, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical patent litigation.

Adam’s other interests include healthcare entrepreneurship, table tennis, and improving his golf game.
